Austin is into trouble again!

Austin is now fully mobile. He is actually a very strong baby as well. He likes to push our kitchen chairs all over the kitchen. He is pushing them up to the light switches to play with the light(he likes the disco effect the best), up to the bar stools and then climbing on the counters, and he is pushing them over to the stove top to watch me make dinner(we have put a stop to this one because it is so dangerous...but aren't they all??!!) But the other day top them all! I walked up stairs to find him in the bathroom, make-up on his face, sitting Indian-style in the sink...playing with his favorite toys...toothbrushes. He had Lexie's toothbrush in one hand and a tube of toothpaste in the other. I was so mad, but on the other hand, it was so dang funny. One of those " I Gotta get a picture of this" moment. Too bad the piture didn't turn out as clear as I hoped. Oh well. I am sure he will be up to his o'tricks again soon enough.

Easter

Sorry it has been so long since my last post. It seems like I like to post only on Holidays or special events. I will try to do better. ST Patty's day was fun. It was the first year Lexie actually got the no green - pinch thing. The whole day Andrew kept asking if we could find a rainbow so we could see a Leprechaun. So cute. Easter was a fun day for us. The Easter Bunny came and visited us on Saturday. He brought the kids some fun toys and "The BEE Movie". Hopefully the kids found all the hard boiled Easter eggs we colored. (I always worry about that) We went to our local city park for an Easter Egg hunt and had a blast. Lexie won a HUGE basket with lots of girly things, stuffed animals and Candy. Then we really celebrated Easter on Sunday. I think it is fun for the kids to color eggs, find them and eat lots of chocolate...BUT its more important for them to understand the real meaning of EASTER. So Sunday we focused on the Christ and what he did for us. This is the first year we have done this and I actually LOVED it.
